MR500

Although we didn’t win any medals this regatta, the team showed incredible spirit during this weekend.  It was also a great building race for all of our new paddlers and good training to prepare them for the upcoming DBS Marina Regatta May 5th and 6th and the Singapore Dragon Boat Festival on June 30th and July 1st.

Our spirit continues to soar and so do our numbers. With our dedicated team training on Saturdays and Sundays, we have added Thursday practices and Tuesday dry land training. Word of warning to our competitors, we will be a paddling force to be reckoned with come May and July!

Between these two full team events, the Divas of our team have a competitive race on May 12th, with a fun inter mixed team race afterwards and a social beach BBQ after the races are completed.

We are always keen to have new paddlers come and join. You need not have experience, just commitment and a desire to have fun while exercising. Please contact us through our website, http://www.canadiandragons-sg.org/?q=contact or come to the Kallang Riverside Park.

We train in the boat on Saturdays from 4:00 – 6:00, and Sundays from 10:00 – 12:00. Please come 30 minutes early to sign in, get kitted out – we have PDF’s and paddles, and to warm up.
